they just never seem to know how to drive! ok, i'll stop with the stereo types but i assume yall know where this is headed...i got side swiped pretty much by a nissan altima.large dent in the driver side door and a series of maybe pringles can lids size dents on the quarter panel,and a nick on the rear bumper. i cant say that i'm too mad, it coulda been my frame,rims, or suspension that coulda gotten beat up. eh...pics when the damn weather clears. i'll never drive in the rain again...(thats right...i'm moving to africa lol).

PS: now i need a door >(

her insurance will yes. or it better at least haha. i'm really itching to see how much they are willing to fork out to me for the damages so i can decide if imma fix it myself or have a bodyshop do it.

Thats funny Ed, i thought it was ALL asian drivers!!!! [img]biggrin.gif[/img] just kidding, that sucks man. If she has insurance, dont let them give you a limit on damage. Go to Hinshaws in auburn to get an estimate, and then go to thoroubred in kent or auburn. They cannot dictate where you get your car fixed. If it is too much they will total out your car, cut you a check for blue book, and then you can buy it back for cheap and put all that $$$$ right back into the Sol. This could end up being a pretty good deal for you. Its happened to me before, and I ended up happy i got hit, just be glad you didnt get hurt.

yeah i'm happy i didn't get hurt and the other driver as well but geez...i spent a month's time of hard grooling work to get her painted and couldn't enjoy it for more than 3 months i would say. shit, i never even got around to cut'n n buff'n. bleh...as long as it gets paid for...i'm still waiting on her insurance to give me a ring too hmMmMmm

Do not wait for the insurance to call you, If you want things done you have to constantly call and follow up on things, otherwise they will draw it out as long as they can. Trust me, they are in no hurry to help someone that is not their client.

yeah i believe that, but guess what...THEY CALLED!!!! i went to about 4 different body shops today and they ALL quoted me somewhere between 2k-2.5k. I'm just seeing dollar signs in my head all day haha. oh yeah, my obx twinloop came in today!!!!!
